Rated 4 out of 5 by from The caps now fit the jugs For some reason I'm the past, the threads on the caps did not match the jugs. Taking the caps on and off was a problem. Not to mention the leakage issues. The newer caps and jugs now seem to play well together. I still have a problem with new caps on some of the older jugs. That leads me to believe the older jugs and caps both were problems

Rated 3 out of 5 by from They work.. I really like these jugs. The only downside is the caps crack after time and to replace them, it's a little pricey. You would probably just want to get another jug financially. Again they probably wouldn't crack if you were not using them for fuel, but the jugs are great for fast fill ups. Hopefully they keep these caps available because the jugs are very durable and should outlast my lifetime.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Am I really reviewing a plastic cap? Yes, because the original failed with a spiral crack. The replacement sucks. The o-ring gasket doesn't stay seated in the seal race. It's not a major think since I always try to secure the can with straps and it's possible that gasoline's high VOC caused the plastic on cap one to deteriorate (these aren't intended for fuel after all), but how in the world did we win WWII with all these miserable gas cans? Oh wait...we had good gas cans then.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very poor quality I bought several Jeg's Jugs and all caps have failed with the same crack on the cap. I have had other jugs and caps with no problems for years.
