Kooks headers were designed because they needed to be. Papa Kook, the founder of Kooks, was a racer with a problem: his cars didn't go as fast as he wanted them to. So he designed his own set of headers, and 200 wins later, other drivers were lining up to have Papa Kook create headers for their cars.
Today all of the headers and exhaust systems are by Kooks are manufactured in Statesville, North Carolina. They're made with stainless steel and laser cut for an exact fit. Every port is then ground by hand to ensure perfect smoothness and eliminate even the most remote constriction for exhaust. To enable maximum flow, all header collectors have a Kooks scavenging spike inside.

Their exhaust systems are designed with a stainless finish for maximum durability. While the exhaust systems are made to fit with the Kooks header to maximize the power output, they can also be worked onto an existing system.
