Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+

The Chiron took Bugatti's reputation for speed to new heights, making the Veyron’s 250-mph top speed seem tame by comparison. Powered by a massive 8.0L quad-turbocharged W16 engine producing nearly 1,600 horsepower, the Chiron Super Sport 300+ hit an impressive 304 mph in testing. This speed machine has a 7-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive for stability and surprising ease of use. Typically, the Chiron is limited to around 260 mph to preserve tire integrity. As expected, the interior is as luxurious as it is fast, offering a plush setting to watch the scenery blur by.

Hennessey Venom F5

An American powerhouse, Hennessey’s Venom F5 replaced the Venom GT as the next step in extreme speed. Built around a 6.6L twin-turbocharged V8 producing 1,817 horsepower, the F5 aims to hit an astounding 311 mph. This rear-wheel-drive hypercar offers a raw driving experience with a 7-speed automated manual transmission and a lightweight carbon-fiber construction. With its eye-watering speed potential, the Venom F5 is as close as it gets to a road-legal rocket.

Tesla Model S Plaid

This car is unique on our list because it’s a practical four-door sedan. The Tesla Model S Plaid, with its tri-motor setup, packs a whopping 1,020 horsepower. It can go from 0 to 60 mph in under 2 seconds under the right conditions, and Tesla claims a top speed of 200 mph. To reach this speed, though, you’ll need upgrades, including special tires. For a family car with five seats and plenty of cargo space, it’s astonishingly quick and has redefined what electric vehicles can achieve.

Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut

Koenigsegg’s Jesko Absolut is Sweden’s response to the ultimate speed challenge. With a twin-turbocharged 5.0L V8 generating up to 1,600 horsepower, the Jesko Absolut is designed to be the fastest Koenigsegg ever, potentially capable of over 330 mph in ideal conditions. It utilizes a 9-speed multi-clutch transmission that transfers power to the rear wheels, offering exceptional handling and a thrill-seeking drive.

Rimac Nevera

This Croatian hypercar is all-electric and delivers a remarkable 1,914 horsepower from its quad-motor setup, one on each wheel. It’s not only eco-friendly but incredibly fast, with a top speed of 258 mph and a 0-60 mph time of just 1.85 seconds. As an all-wheel-drive vehicle with advanced torque vectoring, the Nevera brings new meaning to instant acceleration and control, setting a new standard for electric hypercars.

The Aston Martin Valkyrie is essentially a road-legal race car, complete with a naturally aspirated 6.5L V12 engine developed in partnership with Cosworth. Paired with an electric motor for additional power, the Valkyrie can reach speeds of around 250 mph, all managed by a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. With its track-focused design, the Valkyrie is one of the most radical street-legal cars available.

Ferrari SF90 Stradale
