Speedmaster El Rayo Ignition System Kits are designed to be big on performance but with a small cap to accommodate space restrictions. These ignition kits are precision CNC-machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum and contain spark plug-type terminals for secure wire attachment. Each kit comes complete with a non-adjusting, accurate magnetic pickup along with an easy-to-adjust mechanical advance mechanism. El Rayo Ignitions deliver stable timing and spark at any rpm, with a .500 in. diameter steel shaft that is guided in a long sintered bushing. A sealed ball bearing at the top of the unit is used to locate the reluctor ring.
