Ridetech CoolRide Air Springs

These are the same air springs that Ridetech uses in all of their CoolRide series suspension systems. The air springs are manufactured by Firestone and offer maximum load support, as well as years of worry-free service. Air springs are installed between the vehicle's frame and suspension, providing load support through the use of air pressure.

Double Convoluted Air Spring Technical Information:
Firestone double convoluted air springs DO NOT require a bump stop to avoid damage, however, your specific application MAY require a bump stop to maintain a safe ground clearance when deflated.

Tapered Sleeve / Rolling Sleeve Air Spring Technical Information:
An external bump stop and an extension stop (limiting strap or the shock absorber) MUST be used to prevent the air spring from exceeding the compressed or extended dimensions. If these dimensions are exceeded, severe damage to the air spring, and possibly the vehicle, will result.
