This starter solenoid with Ford-style remote mounting is ideal for race cars, tow vehicles, OE replacement, and high-torque starters (remote mount location keeps the solenoid cooler). Provides an easy power hookup point for accessories and timing lights when the battery has been relocated to the rear of the vehicle. Add an optional underhood starter switch (#555-10310 sold separately) in order to rotate or bump the engine when setting valve lash.
