DEI Form-A-Shield is designed to provide the best heat protection where high temperatures are problematic. These heat-resistant panels are constructed from 10-mil dimpled aluminum with a 1/4" basalt insulation, and resist temperatures ranging up to 1400 degrees. Simply trim Form-A-Shield panels to fit any surface and directly apply to manifolds, pipes and mufflers. In addition to offering excellent lightweight thermal protection, DEI Form-A-Shield also guards against road and track debris, plus acts as a sound deadener.
