321 Stainless Steel
321 Stainless Steel as a base metal, has a higher fatigue strength than 304 Stainless Steel in dynamic applications. This makes it a good material for exhaust components that see extreme heat cycles and an excellent choice for bellows ply material.
When welded properly, 321 Stainless Steel has a material composition that results in a weld that is stronger and more durable in high temperature applications and makes it less prone to corrosion.
Note: Welding filler 347 is recommended for welding 321 Stainless Steel
