Trail Gear TGI-307360 Crawl Box, Trail-Creeper 2005-2022 Tacoma - 4.70 Gear Ratio
542-TGI-307360
Trail-Gear TGI-307360 Features:
Transfer cases are made from two basic sections the reduction section and the 4WD section. To build a dual transfer case, two reduction boxes are bolted back-to-back with a dual case adapter. These two are then bolted to a 4WD section. Using the Tacoma-specific adapters, this crawl box is ready to bolt onto the front of a Tacoma Chain drive transfer case. In addition, this kit also comes with the necessary adapter and hardware to bolt a dual case to the back of your Tacoma transmission. Units are completely rebuilt and inspected. The low range gear ratio is 4.70 or 2.28. Floorboard and driveshaft modifications are required for dual transfer case installation. No core charge. One-year warranty. This adapter kit is compatible with any vehicle with a Toyota A750F Transmission and several other applications, please see the application data tab for full application information.
NOTE: Shifter installation may differ from instructions for non 2nd Gen (2005-2015) Toyota Tacoma Applications.
- This kit will enable you to install a mini truck crawl box in your Tacoma.
- With this 4.70:1 or 2.28:1 crawl box installed, your transfer case will now have 4 speeds. Having 4 speeds available allows the driver to select the proper ratio to provide the optimal torque and control for any terrain.
- Assuming a 4.88 ring and pinion along with a 3.52:1 transmission first gear, a dual transfer case with 4.70 gear option will provide a double low final drive ratio of 207:1 and the final drive ratio with 2.88 gear option is 101:1.
- All units are built in the USA at Trail-Gear headquarters.
- Includes all hardware required for installation.
- Shifter Kit included.
