TCI Bolt-Together Torque Converters have a triple-disc lock-up and a bolt-together design for easy disassembly. The front and the impeller hub are CNC-machined to reduce ballooning; the turbine hub, clutch hub, and lock-up piston are pre-hardened to enhance strength (all five components are billet). Removing the billet front provides access to the lock-up assembly, turbine, stator, and bearings for servicing or stall speed adjustment.
