Procomp Electronics 10000 Series Pro OEM Distributors are designed for enthusiasts that are serious about OEM performance.
If your building a performance V6 for your late model Vortec you cannot afford to use the weak OEM plastic distributor, that's ok for stock replacement applications but it will not do in a performance modification. For that we offer this performance upgrade of the OEM distributor, it features an aluminum housing that is much stronger. Everything except the cap has been reinforced to provide a more stable platform. Best part, it will install and plug in just like its OEM counterpart.

Purchased for my 2001 Chevy S10 Blazer Xtreme to replace my worn out plastic distributor. This was advertised to be an aluminum bodied upgrade to the factory plastic body. Pics showed what looked to be a nice billet aluminum distributor like the description says. Waited a week for this thing to arrive just to open up a box that was clearly for a different distributor different part number on box and all, and find in a bag some off brand all plastic factory replacement!!! I could have gone to my local Autozone or Advance Auto and walked out the same day with something
better than this!! What a huge disappointment when I thought Jegs was a reputable company. Will not get my business again.

Does this have vent holes ? How does this handle humid environments? I'm in very humid Florida.
The Speedmaster 746-PCE376.1217 distributor does not have vent holes.
