Sonnax 124740-76K Features:
GM Gen. 2 6T70/75/80 units often suffer shift abnormalities caused by excess wear in the actuator feed accumulator piston bores. This wear allows actuator feed limit fluid loss which prevents proper regulation of oil pressure supplied to control solenoids, resulting in harsh or soft shifts, solenoid codes and clutch failure.
Sonnax actuator feed accumulator piston kit 124740-76K renews the hydraulic integrity of this circuit, restoring normal shift operation and feel. This drop-in sleeve/piston assembly provides a new and unworn bore for hydraulic sealing of the piston. The sleeve incorporates an O-ring which provides a positive seal to prevent leakage even in worn bores.
