Performance Automatic Transmission Core Return Process.
A refundable core charge will be added to the purchase price of this product. To receive core credit, the core must be returned to Performance Automatic 5119 Pegasus Court Suite F, Frederick MD 21704 within 60 days of the original purchase date. The purchase date is printed on your sales invoice receipt. The core must be in rebuildable condition and packed carefully in the original box to ensure a damage-free arrival back to our processing center, along with a copy of the original purchase invoice and core return form to receive a refund. Upon inspection of the core, a credit will be issued to the selling dealer which will then issue a credit to the consumer.
Return shipping charges to Performance Automatic are the responsibility of the consumer.

Performance Automatic Stage 2 Street Smart TH350 - Rated to 550 Horsepower
Front Pump - New seal, Babbitt bushing, new pump gear, stator half of pump squared flat with the rotor to pump clearances set at .0025"-.0035".
Forward Drum - 5 Alto Red Eagle forward clutches, clearance for forward clutch pack ste to .030"-.045", 4 flat steels and 1 waved cushion steel, for a smoother engagement. All return springs used.
Direct Drum - 5 Alto Red Eagle direct clutches, 5 flat Kolene steels, clearance for the direct clutch pack set to .050"-.070". Red Line band used. An extra wide drum bushing is added for better support. All return springs used.
Intermediate Clutches - 3 Alto Red Eagle Intermediate clutches, 3 flat Kolene steels & 1 waved cushion steel for a smoother engagement and it helps keep the intermediate sprag race from breaking.
Low/Reverse Section - Hand picked planets, input integral gear, reaction carrier, reaction carrier shaft, hand picked reaction sun gear & sun shell, internal reaction gear, internal reaction gear support, sun shell, 5 Alto clutches, 5 low drag steels, HD bronze rear case bushing, new extension housing bushing and new gear on the governor.
Valve Body - Trans-Go Performance Shift kit modified to street/strip specifications to give more holding capacity. Modified accumulators to give the best possible part throttle shifts, and progressively firmer shifts with more throttle opening. The late design Sealed Power (filtran zero-leak) filter is used in this transmission. An adjustable modulator is used to fine tune part throttle shifts.
Transmission Pan - Deep chrome pan with a drain plug for easy servicing when its time to change fluid.
