It has been proven that the C7 Corvette has poor cooling efficiency from the factory. This all-aluminum design features a 2 in. thick core with two rows creating a 38% increase in core volume. The finned surface area is also increased by 135%. This, combined with the volume increase, nets a five-degree drop-in radiator outlet temperatures.
