Rated 5 out of 5 by from Built to last I purchased this tire in 2020 shortly after cupping the OEM Firestone Destination Tires with less than 30,000 miles. I sold the Jeep Wrangler in May 2024 with over 101,000 miles on the vehicle. 73,000 of the last miles were on the Michelin Defender LT MS tires purchased in 2020. The tires were still serviceable with 5/32 tread depth remaining.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Tires I just bought these, but bought a set in 2021 and was very pleased with them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent choice I own 7 vehicles and 6 of them have Michelin defender's other 1 has Michelin Pilot Sport. that wear great NO Problems. No balance issues, they wear proper. Work great on snow and ice (tires help on snow and ice but only if you actually know how to drive on it). Excellent wet weather traction. I don't have tpms (tire pressure monitoring system) on none of them, don't want it and don't need it! I can feel if it doesn't feel right and I'll pull over and check. I also check tire pressure's on a regular basis. I don't rotate every oil change or any of that mess. I rotate only when it's needed. I'm changing a set on my 2000 Honda Accord V6 in the morning (6-29-24) that has around 68,000 miles on them with 3/32 left on them and only rotated twice (car driven VERY regularly to Duke children's hospital 2.4 hr drive 1 way, I just ain't trusting any other tire for it). My alignments are right. Never ever will there be a so called "special on alignment" ever done on anything I own, all they do is toe and go or just get it to look good for the printout. I do my own set to exact specs! Absolutely no worn parts. If you're ever told "we can adjust it for it being worn". Nope, you just got took. On another note you can not buy tires only by size and price you have to get not only the tire size BUT you have to get the speed and weight rating for your application. Example P205/65r15 94H. P is for Passenger, LT is needed for trucks that's going to be hauling anything heavy. The 94H is the load index & speed rating extremely crucial. It can literally mean the tire can't hold the weight it is carrying/hauling or handle the speed your going to be driving. Therefore I don't buy tires by price, I buy what I need and just pay the price needed and in the end it's cheaper and safer. Thanks Michelin

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Tires with Outstanding Road Noise Suppression & Wet Traction Third set of the Defender LTX M/S tires on two diesel pickups used to tow approximately 15,000 # fifth wheels. They are quiet, great wet traction and decent in snow. These tires are not designed to routinely run up and down wet dirt/muddy roads, through fields or Upper Peninsula winters. Love these tires and that is why I am a repeat customer. As with any brand & model tire the vehicle must be in alignment to include the frame or there will be abnormal wear. As with any brand & model tire if the tires are not properly inflated there will be abnormal wear. Proper inflation does not mean pressuring the tire to the maximum number located on the sidewall either.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tires My last tires I bought were Goodyear, I never was satisfied with them so I bought the Michelin and the ride is so much better, the road noise is almost zero
