563100 - McLeod Aluminum Flywheels is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from New design, screws hit counterweight I bought this to replace an existing flywheel with the same part number. Putting the two flywheels next to each other, they are slightly different, which doesn't affect anything. But instead of riveting the friction plate to the flywheel, they now use machine screws. These screws stick out the other side and interfere with the installation of the counterweight. One screw needs to be trimmed to clear the counterweight, so now the balance is in question. Also, the supplied hardware for the counterweight is not the same thread in the flywheel. I've always liked McLeod products, but this flywheel has me wondering what happened.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK so far This seems like a nice flywheel. I bought it for my 351W that a new starter ruined. I haven't installed it yet because I can't assemble it. The web page shows that it requires a separate purchase of weights. So I ordered them. When the package arrived, I saw that the flywheel comes with weights, so I have to sets. Anyone want the spare set? The problem is that the screws that came with the weights don't fit. They are too small. Both sets of weights have the same incorrect screws. I live in a small town in the middle of nowhere, so it isn't easy to find the right screws. I will have to wait a few more days to see if this flywheel is an improvement.
