I have this same unit on my 71 Chevelle,with front and rear disc brakes,question is will this unit work with the rear disc breaks?

Im wanting to put this on my 70 Chevelle originally with disc F and drum R. I just installed disc to the rear. Will this work on my car?
71 Chevy C20 350 CU with Edlebrock performer manifold and 1406 carb. It had vacuum issues and I'm hoping this will help and still offer class IV towing capabilities for braking.
