    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Gasket not thick enough Compared to my old thermostat(which was fine but I was upgrading water pumps) this thermostat's gasket is not as thick as the old one and will not seal. It is recessed from the flange so it probably wouldn't even make contact

    is there a difference between a truck and a car thermostat? ie my 5.3 with a F body water pump.
