I need to replace my fuel sending unit on my 1982 camaro with Mech Fuel pump. There are no aftermarket or refurbished units that i can find. Would this work in its place? Are there any physical dimensions of this unit i could compare to my exist unit?

We do not have a sending unit listed for your Camaro, you can compare it to one of these and then modify it to fit - https://www.jegs.com/p/Dorman-Products/Dorman-Fuel-Sending-Units/1557718/10002/-1
