Will this fit directly in place of the factory housing without modification?

    Asked by: 96s10ss
Our housing and axle packages are designed to bolt up to the factory suspension. The tube diameter on our housings is 3", so new u-bolts and hardware are recommended. Our housing and axles kits are also built to the same width as factory, and retain the factory wheel bolt pattern. You will need to purchase brakes, and a 3rd member to complete the rearend. Brakes will need to be plumbed per the manufacturers recomendations, and a driveshaft mated to whatever 3rd member you choose.

Is there a kit for disk brakes to be installed on this rear end for my 1992 s10??

    Asked by: Jared
There are many disc brake kits to choose from on the market today that fit this configuration, from many different manufacturers. The important specs to mind when shopping for brakes for this kit, is that the axles are Big Bearing Ford New Style, and have a 2.50" axle offset. will this fit a 1968 cadillac

    Asked by: mikeyokie
The CE-GMS8297X is a 9-inch housing and axle kit built for a 1982-1997 Chevy S-10 pick-up. For a 1968 Cadillac, we recommend one of our universal rearends, so you can transfer over the bracketry and weld them in place. We don not have a direct fit for a 68 Cadillac.
