Advance Adapters 712553 Features:
- This adapter plate assembly is used to adapt Jeep 258, 304, 360, 401 to the Dodge gasoline NV4500 5 speed transmission. The adapter plate is .750” in length and is manufactured from 356-T6 heat treated aluminum alloy. Included in the adapter plate kit you will receive an adapter plate, pilot bushing, fastening hardware, and adapter instructions.
- Note: This adapter assembly requires an AMC bellhousing that was previously used with the Jeep T-150 or T176 transmission.
- Note: Bellhousing from the Jeep CJ-7 series SR4, T-4, T-5 transmission can also be used provided that the bellhousing is drilled and tap to match our adapter plate pattern. Adapter plate to bellhousing indexing will remain the same.
- Transmission
- The adapter plate is for exclusive use with only the gasoline V8 Dodge NV4500 5 speed with a 1-1/8”diameter, 10 spline input shaft. Please exclude from using the V10 and Cummins H.D. versions with the 1-1/4” diameter, 10 spline input shafts.
