Advance Adapters 712544 Features:
- This adapter plate assembly is used to adapt a Ford 302 / 5.0L to the Jeep NV3550 5 speed transmission. The adapter plate is .920” in length and is manufactured from 356-T6 heat treated aluminum alloy. Included in the adapter plate kit you will receive an adapter plate, new clutch disc, pilot bushing, fastening hardware, and adapter instructions.
- Note: This adapter plate design kit requires a Ford truck bell housing.
- Transmission
- The NV3550 was used in the Jeep TJ Wranglers equipped with the 4.0L engine. The transmission case length is 24.00”. It has a 1-1/8”, 10 spline input shaft with a pilot tip of .750”. The output shaft is a flush 23 spline. The bolt pattern on the face of NV3550 looks identical to the AX15, except for a shift rail that protrudes from the top front of the NV3550.
