Advance Adapters 712521 Features:
- This adapter plate assembly is used to adapt a GM Engine to the Jeep T-18 / T-98 4 speed manual transmission. The adapter plate is .500 in. in length and is manufactured from 356-T6 heat treated aluminum alloy. Included in the adapter plate kit you will receive an adapter plate, pilot bushing, gasket, seal, fastening hardware, and adapter instructions.

- Note: This adapter plate kit only fits T-18 / T-98 transmission with a input shaft stick out of 9-3/8 in.�
- Note: With our adapter plates, we utilize a new front bearing retainer to obtain proper bell housing alignment. Chevy adapter plates we use a small index of 4.686 in.�, (the larger index retainer, PN716078, can be substituted for the 5.125 in.� bell housing).
- Transmission
- The T-18 is a heavy duty four speed with unsynchronized first gear. These transmissions were manufactured by Borg Warner and they have a cast iron case. The casting number on the drivers side of the T-18 is T-18 or 13-01. The T-18 has a 1 1/8 in. 10 spline input shaft and a 1 3/8 in. 6 spline output.
- The T-98 has a very similar appearance to the T-18 except a casting number of T98. It is heavy duty like the T-18. The T-98 has a 1 1/16 in. 10 spline input shaft and 1 3/8 in. 6 spline output.
- Note: T-18 / T-98 with the 1 3/8 diameter input shaft cannot be used with our adapter plate kits.
