Advance Adapters 712511 Features:
- This adapter plate assembly is used to adapt a Ford V8 Small Block V8 Engine to the Jeep T-15 3 speed manual transmission. The adapter plate is 1.625 in. in length and is manufactured from 356-T6 heat treated aluminum alloy. Included in the adapter plate kit you will receive an adapter plate, 4.848 in. bearing retainer, pilot bushing, fastening hardware, and adapter instructions.
- Transmission
- The T-15 is a 3 speed manual transmission and can be identified by a case length of 10.00 in.. T15 or 1307 is normally cast on the side of the case. And 8 bolts hold the shift cover to the top of the case. This is probably one of the strongest of the 3 speeds transmission. The T-15 was only used behind V8 equipped CJ's and Jeep trucks.
- This kit is also used on Jeep T14 transmissions that were coupled to the straight 6 cylinder and had a 8.375 input stickout length.
