Advance Adapters 50-9812 Features:
- This adapter kit will allow you to adapt the GM SM465 2WD, 4 speed transmission to the Jeep NP231 transfer case. The adapter is 5.25 in length and is made from strong 356 T-6 heat treated aluminum alloy. The adapter kit includes a adapter housing, new spud shaft, gaskets, seal, fastening hardware, and adapter instructions.
- Transfer Case
- The adapter assembly fits the NP231 23 spline transfer case & NP231 21spline with the addition of PN716054. This adapter assembly is designed for exclusive use with the 2WD, GM SM465 4 speed manual with a 35 spline output shaft. This top loaded heavy-duty transmission has a cast iron case, and is 12 in. in length. It was used in GM trucks from 1968 to 1988. The SM465 was used in both 2wd & 4wd applications with 3 various output shaft spline counts of 10, 32, & 35 splines.
