Advance Adapters 50-3021 Features:
- The Jeep Dana 300 adapter to the Jeep AX5 is .750 in. in length. This adapter will allow four rotation angles for the Dana 300, and the adapter material is 356 T-6 heat treated aluminum alloy. A special long 21 spline input is included to maintain proper spline engagement. The adapter kit includes a rotation ring, new 21 spline input for the Dana 300, sealed bearing, gasket, fastening hardware, and detailed instructions.
- Transfer Case
- The adapter assembly fits the Jeep Dana 300. This transfer case was used in 1980-86 Jeep CJs. A version of it was also used in '80 Scouts. The kit is non-interchangeable with the Scout transfer case.
- Transmission
- This adapter kit is designed to be installed on the 1987-95 Jeep AX5 (flush output shaft) with little or no modifications. 1997 & up AX5 will need a little more modifications due to a ½ in.� positive stick-out past the tailhousing.
- The Jeep Peugeot 5 speed (BA/10), and the AW4 4 speed automatic can also be used with this kit. Note: a new Dana 300 short front retainer needs to be purchased PN716220 when using the Peugeot 5 speed & AW4 automatic. Modifications are needed due to a ½ in.� positive stick-out past the tailhousing on both transmissions.
