    Will this work in my 2004 Volvopenta 5.7 fuel injected?

    Hey, is this a vortec engine or pre vortec… does it have flat tappet lifters or rollers

    My boat has a 1984 5.7L in it. It takes a small fly wheel. The end if the crank is a wierd looking one, it has a counter weight I'm guessing. I have pictures.

    Hello Joee, this engine is the later model 1pc rear main seal engine. Your flywheel would not work. You would need to purchase an external balance flywheel for a 1pc seal engine in the tooth count you need to work.
