- Seasoned OE non roller block 1988-1993
- Bore/Stroke: 4.040" x 3.500"
- Displacement: 351W
- Camshaft Bearings: Dura-Bond, installed and clocked to OEM position
- Freeze Plugs: Brass, installed and sealed
- Oil Galley Plugs: Installed and sealed
Rotating Assembly:
- Crankshaft: OE 1 piece seal cast crank
- Balance: External 28oz (flexplate/flywheel/balancer)
- Rods: OE powder metal 5.955"
- Compression Ratio: 58cc= 9.4:1 / 64cc= 8.7:1 / 70cc= 8.2:1
- Pistons: Hypereutectic D cup dish
- Rings: Plasmamoly
Recommended Components:
- Balancer: External balance 28oz
- Flexplate/Flywheel: External balance 28oz
- Head Gasket: .047" thickness or per application
- Oil: 10W30 Non syntheitc for first 3000 miles
- Oil Filter: Wix or K&N per application

What is the difference on this short block to early years of the 351 w ,the motor I want to replace is 1986 would the heads fit this engine as well as other parts off the 1986, I thought this motor was from 1969 to 1996 would be all the same.
What is the warranty on this motor and has it been tested for cracks in block and oil pressure channels
What is the cc of the piston? In the photo it shows flat tops with valve reliefs, but the description says dished.
Has the crank been turned .if so what on mains and rods.have they bored the cylinders to what
This short block is listed as high performance. I must be missing something, cause reading the information I doused any thing high performance it looks like a standard engine with low compression pistons… I was looking for something like this but better
