Pushrod Guideplates
Pushrod guideplates are components used in conjunction with cylinder heads to properly guide and support the pushrods in an engine's valvetrain system. These plates are typically made of hardened steel and feature precisely machined channels that ensure the pushrods remain aligned with the rocker arms, optimizing valve operation and minimizing wear. Note: hardened pushrods must always be used with guideplates. By providing a stable path for the pushrods, guideplates help maintain consistent valve timing and reduce the risk of pushrod deflection or failure, especially in high-performance or racing applications.

When selecting the correct pushrod guideplates for your engine build, it's essential to consider factors such as cylinder head design, pushrod diameter, and intended use. Different cylinder head configurations may require specific guideplate designs to ensure proper fitment and compatibility. Additionally, if you're building a high-performance engine or making modifications to increase valve lift and duration, adjustable pushrod guideplates offer flexibility in fine-tuning valve train geometry for optimal performance. Note: hardened pushrods must be used with guideplates.
At JEGS, we offer a comprehensive selection of pushrod guideplates to suit a wide range of engine applications and performance needs. Whether you're performing a stock rebuild, upgrading to aftermarket cylinder heads, or building a race-ready engine, JEGS provides high-quality guideplates designed for durability and precision.
