Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just awesome I installed the gasket a few weeks ago on my origional 1973 350ci powered Nova. It fit great. The metal that is built into it makes I impossible to over tighten.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from use listed is wrong Checked with service before ordering because it says thick seal. Was assured that it is for 55-75. Yes it is a thick seal and wouldn't work with a early small block- needs thin seal. May work with a aftermarket pan. Fitment notation should upgraded.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice but... Bought this for my 1964 Chevy 283. Stock pan and timing cover. This gasket will not fit properly. The rear of gasket doesn't contact pan when tightened. I researched and found that my engine uses a "thin" front seal. This gasket has a "thick" front seal according to the description. Not sure if that is the entire problem or if the gasket is made incorrectly in the rear. Trying a Fel-Pro next with "thin" front seal.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not what i thought I bought the one piece jegs brand oil pan gasket . apparently you can buy a thin or thick gasket for the oil pan smiles, I bought the thick one and it leaks around the timing cover worse than the gaskets I took off. know what you are asking for .
