    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Two engines both are completely worthless Bought the first engine, got it swapped, got it timed drove 7 minutes to work at low speeds, drove 5 minutes back after work and my cylinder blew. Got a second engine swapped, timed, ran for 300 miles oil change, did various driving, 6 months swapped oil, drove for 2 months during winter. Regular oil changes, suddenly getting check engine light, go in and I have a rod through a piston. Two engines that have hardly any miles on them and they are worthless now. Save your money and buy from a more reputable source. And goodluck getting a hold of anyone I spent an hour and 20 minutes on hold for no one to answer.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy an engine from ATK I purchased an ATK engine from JEGS and it was defective. I paid $3500 for the enfine and $2K to have it installed only to find out that the crank was pitted where the rear seal is installed. My new engine has a bed oil leak.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from 2006 Jeep TJ I purchased this product thinking that ATK was a good company to work with. I have had nothing but heartache and mistrust with the customer service and warranty department. I was denied warranty on a engine that has less than 1 hour run time on it. The engine was put to together with all new parts and meticulous assembly and install. After they denied the warranty they told me it would cost more to rebuild the engine than it would to just purchase a new engine. I was down already to long without a engine so I purchased the 2nd new engine and asked them to send my 1st new engine back to me so that I could rebuild it and try and recoup some of my cost's. They sent the 2nd new engine out that week and I got it and sent it off to the mechanic to be put back into the jeep. After about 2 weeks I emailed them back to find out where my original engine was in reassembly and freight back to me. The warranty department had no idea who I was and told me that the engine was no longer available. After some back and forth they finally realized and accepted who I was and agreed to get back to me after they try and locate the engine in there plant. It has been 2 weeks now and I keep emailing them and trying to call and they will not respond back. There are other brands and companies out there that have the stroker engine that is cheaper that I would recommend before I ever purchased another ATK manufactured engine. I am out a lot of money and time now for only 1 engine. If they had good customer service you would think they would reimburse me for 1 of the engines or send me another new engine or find my original engine and get it back to me.
