Not only do they provide better fuel mileage and emissions control but with Dorman's reinforced aluminum coolant crossovers there will be less chance for failure due to corrosion and vibration which are a common problem found with OE intakes. Their integrated silicone intake gaskets provide a better seal meaning fewer leak paths found at the cylinder head and throttle body sealing surfaces. Dorman intakes also feature thicker walls and an improved fillet design to prevent warping at the gasket under the heat and extreme conditions.
