CURT HITCHES 45149 Features:
The CURT RockerBall cushion hitch dynamically absorbs jerking and jarring from your trailer at the coupling point. The ball easily bolts onto the included trailer hitch ball mount, giving you increased comfort, enhanced control and extended longevity of your vehicle's systems. The RockerBall tow ball is engineered with ShockDrop technology: a cushion isolator that reduces noise, vibrations and chucking at the coupling point. This produces quieter towing, increased driver control over the trailer and reduced strain on the vehicle's brakes, towing system and suspension, compared to a conventional metal-on-metal towing connection. This RockerBall kit comes with a sway tab ball mount to attach a sway control unit for increased safety (sway control #17200 sold separately). The ball mount has a 2-inch shank to fit most class 3, class 4 and class 5 hitch receivers, and the RockerBall is pre-torqued on the ball tongue, providing a 2-inch rise. RockerBall is virtually maintenance-free. Unlike other cushion hitch and torsion hitch options, it has no airbags or bearings to service. Just apply grease to the zerk fitting as needed for continuous lubrication and smooth towing. The RockerBall trailer ball is constructed from forged steel for exceptional strength, and it comes with a powder coat finish and chrome plating for dependable corrosion resistance.Specifications:
